Your Guests Already Wrote a Better Airbnb Title

If your Airbnb title doesn't reflect what guests actually remember, you're probably missing clicks. Your reviews may already contain a better title.

Your Guests Already Wrote a Better Airbnb Title

If your guests consistently describe your property differently than you do, it's worth paying attention.

While reviewing an Airbnb listing in Denmark, one thing immediately stood out.

The title read:

Wellness meets idyll and seaview.

It's not a bad title.

But it also doesn't tell me much.

What kind of wellness?

What does idyll mean?

Why should I click this listing instead of the dozens around it?

Then I started reading the reviews.

The Reviews Told a Completely Different Story

Guests weren't talking about "wellness."

They weren't talking about "idyll."

Instead, they kept mentioning:

  • The breathtaking sunrise over the sea.
  • The hot tub overlooking the water.
  • The relaxing sauna.
  • The peaceful location.
  • The short walk to the beach.
  • The incredible sea views from the terrace.

Those words appeared again and again.

They weren't written by the host.

They were written by the guests.

Your Title Should Reflect What Guests Remember

Your Airbnb title has one job.

Earn the click.

That means leading with the features your ideal guest values most.

Abstract words rarely stop someone scrolling.

Specific experiences do.

Imagine seeing these titles instead:

  • Sea View Hot Tub & Sauna Steps from the Beach
  • Panoramic Sea Views with Private Sauna & Hot Tub
  • Wake Up to Sunrise Views, Hot Tub & Sauna

They immediately paint a picture.

They tell guests exactly what they'll experience.

Your Reviews Are Full of Marketing Ideas

Most hosts read reviews to check their rating.

Very few read them to improve their listing.

But your guests often describe your property better than you do.

They naturally highlight the moments they'll remember forever.

Those moments are exactly what future guests want to imagine.

Guest Intent Optimization™ Starts With Listening

One of the principles behind Guest Intent Optimization is listening before rewriting.

Instead of guessing what makes your property special, let your guests tell you.

If the same words appear again and again in your reviews, they're probably describing your true selling points.

Use those words in your title.

They're already proven.

One Question Before You Update Your Title

If you removed your current title and replaced it with the words guests use most often in their reviews, would it be stronger?

For many listings, the answer is yes.
